I re-designed the horse blanket product, including fit, features, colors and patterns based on fashion, industry experience, and a lot of trying on samples! After communicating with the manufacturers abroad, we got a stellar upgrade to the product offering.
I then photographed the blankets and directed integrated packaging design, point of purchase, and online/print catalogs using these product enhancing photographs.
Using industry contacts and relationships, I received product placement and editorial, which increased public awareness of this product line in both the consumer marketplace and wholesale.
These blankets increased sales 300% in this category and lead to the best month of sales in the history of the company.
